Steven Epstein was born into a family of boaters.  His grandfather Lou Stadlin was one of the first to install radar on the fishing boats and big ships out of Hampton,VA as the owner of Central Electronics back in the 60's until the early 90's.  Steven grew up on and around boats, his parents were avid skiers and fisherpeople.  Some of Steven's earliest memories are sitting on the Glasstron in the driveway hanging out with friends and family.  Fishing is in his blood, Steven's father is an avid Fisherman and they spent many weekend on the boat or surf fishing in the outer banks out of the old Volvo240 station wagon(Steven still drives a 240).  All through High School Steven could be found either fishing, or riding horses. After Graduating from Cape Henry Collegiate School Steven attended Averett for a year in the Equestrian Studies program.  Steven quickly realized college was not for him and went to work.  At the ripe old age of 20 Steven was running his own tree company and hauling hay.  In his down time Steven would assist his dad with his construction company and he gained many skills through his experience there.  After an injury in 2006 Steven was out of commission for awhile, during this time he had a few desk jobs and picked up a little bit of sales experience.  Steven also got into sailing during this time and lived aboard his 34 foot Columbia MKII.  After a successful neck surgery in March 2012, he can now enjoy life again as a "normal" person.  Steven still loves to fish and can often be found making early morning runs out to Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel for stripers or Trolling for the big fish out in the ocean. It can be said that Steven truly is the son of a son of a sailor.
